If you are dining or attending a function hosted at Memphis Hunt & Polo Club, it is our pleasure to welcome you as our guest. We kindly ask that you observe the following policies in order to ensure an enjoyable and memorable visit.

Clubhouse

Attire:

Lunch - Appropriate casual attire is acceptable in all areas of the Main Clubhouse, where gentlemen are expected to wear long pants and a collared shirt, and women in comparable attire. Denim, bathing suits, T-shirts and cut-offs are not acceptable. Members in denim and tennis or pickleball attire may be served in either the Card Room or Men’s Porch.

Dinner – Jacket, tie optional, for gentlemen and comparable attire for ladies must be worn in the Tap Room when dining in the Garden Room or Outside Patio. Those dressed in appropriate casual attire, as defined above, may be seated within other dining areas of the Club at the manager’s discretion, to include the Williams Room, the Card Room or the Men’s Porch, and when appropriate on the Outside Patio. Tennis and pickleball attire are permissible only on the Men’s Porch when available. Special member events may be designated as casual attire with no jackets required for dining.

Pool And Pool House

Attire:

Appropriate swimming suits for both gentlemen and ladies must be worn in the pool area at all times. Cut-off pants and inappropriate T-Shirts are not allowed. When using or dining in the Pool House, appropriate attire includes bathing suits with coverup, tennis/pickleball attire and other tasteful, casual clothing. Parents are encouraged to use discretion related to age-appropriate children’s attire.

Tennis and Pickleball

Attire:

Appropriate attire shall be worn by all players. Men are required to wear a collared shirt and regulation tennis shoes, and women are required to wear comparable attire. Cross training, basketball, and jogging shoes are not allowed.

Cell Phones

In consideration of other members and guests, cell phones or other wireless devices are not permitted on the golf course or in any member dining area at any time.

Silent, discreet use (such as email, texting, or internet use, but not conversational use) of cellular telephones and other wireless devices is permitted in areas of the Club other than the golf course and dining rooms provided such use does not interfere with or hinder the enjoyment of the Club for fellow members and guests. Cellular phones and wireless devices must be set to silent or vibrate mode at all times.

Members may talk or otherwise use cellular phones and other electronic devices in the Tack Room at any time. The use of cell phone cameras or other photographic devices is not permitted in areas of the Club or in situations where members and guests would reasonably expect privacy.
